Re: 9.75/10 for autogeek

Got my order from Autogeek today. Box was packed with what appears to be recycled brown paper, and a minimum at that. Just enough to keep everything in place.

Meghan went above and beyond to get this sorted out and deserves kudos! Absolutely fantastic service!

(and I LOVE the fact that I am close enough to get ground shipping OVERNIGHT!)

Just a suggestion to Autogeek. But if you already have "Green" packing material and it's no extra cost for us why not just use it 100% of the time? Seems like a good idea to me.

Brown paper requires more labor, and doesn't cushion as well as styro peanuts. When you're a small company, efficiencies often take precedent. This is why I said I'd be willing to pay more for green shipping. To cover the marginally higher cost of either cornstarch peanuts or the reduced efficiency of having to crumple paper to box an order.

I agree, I hate peanuts, but I have gotten pretty dang good getting stuff out without spilling them all over the place....

No problem at all, glad I was able to grab it in time for you.

Truth be told chemicals arrive a lot safer in the peanuts and bubble wrap, and its far more efficient in the packing time. One good example would be 303 Protectant, if we do not wrap in bubble wrap you will get a damp box!

I find cats love when you spill a couple.

Got my latest AG order. Brown paper, no breakage! Boy am I unsure about this Pinnacle bug sponge though!
