The purple foam definitely has more bite than the yellow and a bit more dense.
I did a section of my truck's bed with SIP a few weeks back and it did a good job removing some some swirls, it did leave some micro marring on the paint but i don't think it was more than what the yellow pad.
I will get an official response from lake country by monday.

The flex backing plate fix perfect on the pad along with the Lake country 6 inch plate.

This is a new Hybrid Foam and it does have the cutting ability of a twisted wool pads.

Tested out both the Kompressor 7" Pads and the Kompressor 6" Pads for compounding, polishing and waxing using both the rotary buffer and the dual action polisher yesterday.
