Here you’ll find some of the most experienced, well seasoned Pros one can imagine in regards to over the top, no holds barred, striving for the absolute very best possible perfect outcome type results. There are not only members with real world hands on ability, but people with chemical/industry backgrounds in detailing. What will make this forum better is like minded members (like you) sharing their views on car care. What turns me off is another sponsor that sits on the sidelines whose only intension is to peddle their products. That tells me that they have no interest in the community and don’t need to expand their image to the masses. It is my opinion that if a detailer, of any capacity, chooses to limit themselves to 1 line of products this will surely do nothing more than falsely taint their possible outcomes. That being said, manufactures/suppliers/resellers visit this (and other websites) in search of making their products better by listening to & observing the opinions of people here (again back to the win-win outcome I mentioned before). Moving forward, by participating actively, you’ll more than likely be able to expand your horizons not only by making people more aware of your product, but actually opening up your current stance on results based processes/products. I have no doubt that you and Adams are a wealth of information, but why not open the flood gates of your knowledge and share this with like minded individuals from around the world? If you choose to avoid sharing your information with places other than Autopia, you not only cheat yourself, but the industry as a whole. Again, I mean no disrespect, but if one chooses to not participate, I choose to not do business with them. Thank you again.

Wow, I don't even know how to respond to that but I'll try. First off, did you read the part about me having a business that I run which consumes a lot of my time? Then there are the many, many forums that I already freely support. Not only do I support a bunch of detailing forums, I also support computer forums as well as Corvette forums in the capacity of a maintenance technician. I freely give of my time all over the place (I don't get paid to do this, I do it because I like doing it and helping folks out). I am spread very thin and that is the reason I didn't try and expand to more forums than I'm already on, including this one. I am only one man.
I also stated that I have successfully used more than just Adam's products and depending on what I'm doing, I occasionally use more abrasive compounds to take care of body work type damage. That means I am not tunnel visioned into one product, rendering me unable to appreciate what another product can do. The reason you see me demo'ing Adam's is because I cater my advice to the novice detailer, I wholly believe in the Adam's philosophy, and the product works as advertised. Novices are truly my main concern because I know how difficult it was to find someone who spoke my language when I too was a novice.
I freely open my garage daily to anyone who needs help with their paint. If this is not giving enough then I don't have a clue what is. If you Google "Junkman2008", you'll see just how busy I am.
