FWIW, I weigh and measure everything when I have occasion to sell on eBay. Amongst all the gougers that make their profit on shipping, actual charges tend to produce more bidders, IMO. Probably not practical for your purposes.
Personally, I respond to shipping promos before I jump on sale prices, especially with smaller orders. And I'll pay more for a vender that uses FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. The brown truck takes forever to get anywhere and if you follow the tracking info, every Friday at 5pm everything comes to a screeching halt til Monday. Plus, at my location Brown's service is absolutely the worst! Your mileage may vary...
