I would also like to know the answer to this. I have a car that had a tire blow out and the rubber shredded/melted and adhered to the rear quarter.

I have a feeling that claying might do it...but you might be going through a lot of clay. Maybe some sort of solvent cleaner and a re-wax of the area would work out better.
