| Re: auto transmission mod Um...back in the pre-electronics days we used to call this a "shift kit" which modified the hydraulics in the transmission. There was also something called a "kickdown linkage" back in those dark carbureted days...
My auto transmissions typically upshift at higher than 3 or 4 rpm, but with a modern car, if you've got your foot to the floor, you should be upshifting at pretty close to redline, anyway. What kind of car are we talking about? |
