I have used these on my VW. Good rotors initially, but mine rusted terribly and I replaced them before they wore out.

I ended up replacing them with Teves (ATE) plated, slotted rotors.

The slotted rotors make the pads dust like crazy, but the brakes bite a lot harder! I've only had them on a couple weeks, so I can't speak to the life of the plating, but I imagine plating has to last longer than any paint, even e-coat. Time will tell.

The plating on the wear surfaces wore off the first day. Great braking from the first stop!
