1. I have some 6 inch wool pads from AG that are "Concours-Series #77-216", prewashed white Lambswool Knitted, Velcro backed.

Question: Will these work OK on a Meguiar's 5 inch "rotary" backing plate? Would this pad be addressed as cutting or polish type wool pad?

2. I also have some EDGE Classic series wool pads "Single sided" which have a flexable backing with Velcro, this is a 6.5 inch backing with another 1/2 inch curved up lip of the same type backing material.

Question: Will these work correctly on the 5 inch Meguiar's backing plate or should a bigger BP be used?
