Decent law abiding people handed in their guns, and rifles, under threat of prosecution for not doing so.
The one result from all this was that people who were once decent law abiding citizens were now considered as criminals if they wanted to keep any weapon at all.
You want to know the real funny thing about it all.
The only people who have guns now are the 'bad guys'.
Now that I've stood up and said my piece, I have to bend over again now.

Thanks Tony! Thyat's what I have been saying for years. Statics show that in places where guns are banned or illegal to carry crime is usually higher. A bad guy knows, in those areas, chances of robbing or going after someone carrying a gun are very slim. In places where carry is legal the bad guys know their chances of robbing or going after the "wrong person" is higher.
