I never thought that I would come to a car care forum and comment about guns. Here in Australia, we had a similar situation to the Virginia Tech horror. Ours was in 1996 at Port Arthur in Tasmania and 35 people were killed. The public got so angry about it, that our Government did something, and banned virtually all handguns, and most automatic and semi automatic long barreled shotguns and rifles.
Decent law abiding people handed in their guns, and rifles, under threat of prosecution for not doing so.
The one result from all this was that people who were once decent law abiding citizens were now considered as criminals if they wanted to keep any weapon at all.

You want to know the real funny thing about it all.

The only people who have guns now are the 'bad guys'.

Now that I've stood up and said my piece, I have to bend over again now.
