Speaking of which, I just found out that my local paint shop carried some of the meguiar's softbuff 6.5" pads, so I purchased one of the polishing pads and will be using it for this weekend's detail on a subaru forester

The 5" LC CCS danase pads work fine for my car as it has many small angled panels, but for something as large as a forester, I needed a larger pad.

Also looked at the megs burgundy cutting pad. It was softer than I thought it would be, so I think I might be picking one of those up as well if I decide to use powergloss.
