Hi guys,
I am going to be polishing my black firebird later this week, and i need a little info as to what polish to use. The surface is in good shape and not swirled, but could use a polish as i was an idiot and used the wrong wash mitt on it in a hurry last fall (last time i drove it), there are light cobweb scratches. sorry, no pics. I will be using a random orbital buffer, and since i've never done this before, i was going to try something relatively mild like meguiars #9. however i was looking a little more on their site and saw that their machine glaze #3 was a little less abrasive than #9 (from what i could see of the picture of the label). any suggestions/comments concerning these products in my situation, or perhaps a completely different one ive overlooked?
