Actually, the larger pads will spin faster, well seemingly. Sine the larger pads have a larger circumference, they have to travel further to make a complete circle. thus a 6" pad and a 8" pad at 1000RPM, the larger pad will spin faster. Is it enough difference to notice? IDK
