Those colored Turtle waxes always scared me...I remember using the red version on a car in my pre-Autopian days..it looked pretty good at first, but went away quickly.
A good paint cleaner such ColorX or
Klasse AIO would work to remove the oxidation rather than cover it up..but I'm not sure how generous you want to be LOL
