I've been using the Lake Country System 2000 pad washer forever. The one I have has lasted over 10 years now and I love it. Doesn't prolong the pad life, but certainly helps in terms of being able to clean and dry pads quickly between panels or whenever needed. I've even used it with wool and I do find that it keeps the wool soft and gets compound out better than a spur. I highly recommend it.
