Car was washed and prepped.
1. How easy/difficult is RDF Tire & Trim Sealant Gel to apply?
Applied on tires with my tire wipe. Also had to take the effort to go over/into the ridges and bumps/grooves of the tire. Not as user friendly as a sprayable kind.
On the trims, the gel is thinner than I thought and a little went an extremely long way. Big difference compared to applying it to the tire as this was very easy to spread.
2. How do your tires/trim look with RDF Tire & Trim Sealant Gel compared to you favorite product?
I really like the color on the trim. It is very "satin" like a new car look. Prefer it to Poorboys (my current goto). The trim color darkened back to what I think it look like when new. Now the tires actually looked satin/glossy - great how one product gives two different looks. I prefer gloss so did not do a wipedown. It saturated and was dry to the toch when I came out to inspect it a hour later. Looked glossy but new? Prefer the look to PB BnB. A tad less shiny than DG
tire shine.
3. Color and richness of tires/trim after each wash. How much did the color/richness fade?
Have not had a chance to wash since the application. will add to this post when I do
4. If car is exposed to the elements, how many weeks did Tire & Trim Sealant last (keep trim looking good)?
Will update.
5. What would you like to see changed to make RDF Tire & Trim Sealant Gel better?
I really am pleased with the product. Very creamy, yet not really thick - less thick than a hand creme. The only thing so far that I would like changed is the spreadability/ease of application on the tires (was quite slow inefficient compared to Poorboys for example).
