| RDF Tire & Trim Sealant Gel RDF Tire & Trim Sealant Gel Description
This product is a clear gel based “sealant” dressing. It is designed for all colored, textured plastic (plastic cladding, valances, mirrors, bumpers, grills, etc), rubber trim, rubber seals, bumper trim, tires, and rubber/plastic parts under the hood. This product is not designed for interior use.
This product is being designed to:
1. Outlast all gel- and cream-based rubber/plastic/vinyl dressings on the market.
2. Offer a satin, natural appearance on trim and a dark, medium gloss on tires.
3. Offer exceptional protection from UV, ozone and pollution. Application
This product must be applied to a clean, dry finish. Tires and trim must be thoroughly cleaned with an appropriate cleaner to remove all oil, dirt and other dressing/protectant products.
For all parts except tires, apply a liberal coating of RDF Tire & Trim Sealant Gel using a foam applicator and allow the product to sit for 10-15 minutes. Wipe off excess gel and buff to a perfect, satin finish.
For tires, apply two liberal coats of RDF Tire & Trim Sealant Gel using a foam applicator, allowing 5-10 minutes between coats. Buffing off is optional. Testing
Wash vehicle as normal, using a quality car wash. You should see the parts coated with RDF Tire & Trim Sealant Gel bead water in the same way freshly waxed paint beads water. When these surfaces stop beading water, the protection is gone. Color and finish richness will gradually fade.
Please note:
1. How easy/difficult is RDF Tire & Trim Sealant Gel to apply?
2. How do your tires/trim look with RDF Tire & Trim Sealant Gel compared to you favorite product?
3. Color and richness of tires/trim after each wash. How much did the color/richness fade?
4. If car is exposed to the elements, how many weeks did Tire & Trim Sealant last (keep trim looking good)?
5. What would you like to see changed to make RDF Tire & Trim Sealant Gel better? Please use this thread for testing/feedback discussion of RDF Tire & Trim Sealant Gel only.
