I like a lot of the shirts they carry at JC Penney. They have the usual plain striped dress shirt, but also usually have some nice ones that are little more spicey. They have some pretty cool ties too.

I would suggest having your girlfriend go with you to pick some out. I know I have a tough time deciding on which stuff to get, so it's nice to have a second opinion. Women love to pick out clothes for guys. Plus you'll know what kind of stuff she thinks you look good in.
