I think I am pretty set on the Hydra from Sector 9 for myself but, I am still up in the air as to a board for Josh. I don't think I am going to be able to find a complete for him that he will be happy with so I think I am going to have to build it myself. He just wasn't that thrilled with any of the boards we looked at.

He has been talking about wanting a board with flames. I am thinking of just getting a naked deck and either painting it myself or having it custom painted. I am thinking a black base with old school white/yellow/orange flames.

Any advice guys as to who makes a good, durable, light, quality NAKED deck??? Keep in mind he is mainly interested in street skating/tricks as the nearest ramp is an hour away. I would also like to keep the size down to something around 8"x28", wide enough for good control yet short enough to keep it light.

Thanks
