As for your sons board, find out about the wheels, you dont want the hard ones, look for something like what your getting, in the 70-80a range.....That Hydra looks impressive, im jealous........What do they want for it? ABout $160.00?
The Hydra is pretty expensive compared to the others, the pricing I have found so far varies from a low in the $160s to a high of $200. You can get it directly from S9 for $189 plus $12 shipping. I need to shop around to make sure I get the best price. I only saw one on eBay and it looked used.

It would appear that most of the wheels S9 offers are relatively soft. The Mini we are looking at for Josh comes with a 61mm 78a and the Hydra comes with a slightly softer wheel at 69mmx53mm 75a.
