That is the trend in the ATL as well. I used to go see a fabricator who worked on Impalas on the side, and one car in his lot was an old Cutlass that he was doing some fab work (cutting, bending and busting
) to make the gaudy chrome wheels fit.
As you probably noticed...a lot of those cars are Caprices and Impalas. There are a gazillion threads about these cars over on the SS forum. Personally, the rides make me throw up in my mouth. I dont care HOW MUCH money they put into them, they still look goofy.
