Do you do the final rinse after washing without a nozzle? I was just thinking with the size of your car using 1/2 to full flow without a nozzle on the end of the hose should make your car sheet off most of the water. Doing this on my crewcab long bed I'm able to dry the whole truck with one bath size cotton towel.
That would likely eliminate the need to use the
water blade thereby eliminating the potential for debris getting on the blade and causing a scratch.
