Now being a brand new car, do I really need to worry about swirls or scratches if I take good care of it by hand? Pleaes correct me if I'm wrong in my thinking about this, but I will still look into hopefully getting one soon.
I honestly wouldn't worry about getting a PC now so long as you really take care of it. It is definitely a time-saver which can be important in college considering that time could be spent doing other things such as homework, BLEH!

Personally, I use UPP. 4* and Platinum are the same thing so don't even worry about that. The problem with it is that it only really lasts a couple washes so it would be ideal to put 2 or 3 coats of it. There's also the option of topping it with a carnauba but it's definitely not necessary.
