About the PC, I completely understand where you guys are coming from but it just seems that you really only need a PC to 1) cut down the time to wax a car and 2) use it to take out swirls, scratches etc. out of a car that you can't do by hand. Now being a brand new car, do I really need to worry about swirls or scratches if I take good care of it by hand? Pleaes correct me if I'm wrong in my thinking about this, but I will still look into hopefully getting one soon.

Your right to a point. But honestly though, no matter how you wash it, your going to eventually get a few swirls here and there. Especailly considering the color of your FJ. Right now you prolly dont need one. But it is a good tool to have. Personally I like to apply my waxes and sealants by hand anyway. Its easier to get into the tight areas. You can always wait until you actually need one before you buy it. If you do take the plunge order one in a kit that comes with the pads.
