Mike: Being that this vehicle hit the autmatic wash predominantly, it was lucky enough to only have very minor marring up there. I believe the racks guarded the heavy chamois material from hitting all of the paint. I usually give customers two choices after I wash and clay a roof with racks:
1) Polish by hand to remove light swirling, then seal
2) Remove racks, compound, polish, then seal
Obviously the latter incurs an extra charge. Most give the same response:
"Nobody's going to see it and as long as it's protected, I'm happy".
I have no association with Zaino other than being a happy customer. I like their products, but still keep a boat load of others on tap and use reguarly. When I did this detail, I had just receieved my huge order and was feeling over zealous. I apologize for any mixups
