Newb to detailing, and I have a quick query. I have some minor swirls and defects in my paintwork and purchased some Autoglym Super Resin Polish to try to remedy. However, i was then recommended to buy their Ultra
Deep Gloss Shine as that would be appropriate. So, having had a bash with both - neither seemed to make a difference!
Autopia to the rescue I hope!
(i) Which product is the more abrasive?
(ii) at which point am I 'cutting' the paintwork, on application or removal?
I really just want to know where I should be putting in the elbow grease!
Many thanks indeed. If it has any baring, the car is a black Lotus Elise that I hear has a hard laquer on it.
