| You could always try the Edge 2000 system with an adapter in lieu of a backing plate. FWIW, I have both the Edge 2000 system and the "standard" hook & loop pads and backing plates and have had pretty good success with both. Would come down to personal preference. I think a lot of people with PC's already have hook & loop backing plates and pads so they would tend to stay with that. At around $18, the adapter for the Edge 2000 system is about 2-3x as much as typical flexible backing plates. I actually picked up the hook&loop system primarily for use iwth 4" pads only and have since added the larger pads. |
