I ask these simply b/c I have to detail a GSXR 750 soon...any suggestions on cleaning a bike would be great.
you can treat it as normal paint. i've gotten out some pretty scratchy paint from various motorcycles of mine and friends. however, i don't know if i'd use a rotary on a motorcycle. there are just too many curves and interior angles. i can't see how you could use a rotary on a motorcycle without burning the paint somewhere. and orbital could be used no problem. also, remember when it comes to polishing bikes, more often than not the decals are on top of the top coat (clear nor no clear). so don't get all buff happy and burn a decal.
