I have a very similar rotary from HF.. I think it has the exact same specs, but the housing is a tad different. Although maybe it is different as the variable control on mine definitely controls the speed, unlike the one toyotaguy used.
Since every post I have seen has suggested 1000-1500 rpm, I don't care if it is overrated and cannot achieve 3000 rpm.
I have some Edge 2000 pads and adapter coming early next week and will be trying it out then. I was going to get a more flexible urethane backing and some pads but realized for about $10 more I could start off with Edge 2000. Sounds nicer to me
I'll post back to let you know what I think after I give it a go.
