Detailed a BMW M1 yesterday (sorry, no pics)

My customer with the Z-8 had me wash, polish and wax his BMW M1 yesterday in his warehouse (it was drizzling all day). DAYUM! That is one cool looking car. Kind of like a Lotus if you have never seen one. Interior is definitely mid 80s BMW all the way, but the exterior screams 'exotic'.

It was repainted (and very well, I might add) about 6 months ago, so he wanted me to put it's first coat of wax on it. I used Meguiars Hand Polish (Body Shop line) and Pinnacle Paste Glaz. Looked incredibly wet.

I would have taken pictures except for 2 reasons:

1. The issue of light-he had flourescent lighting in the warehouse, but it still wasn't very bright, so the quality would have been poor.

2. I rented a car last week when my car was getting the tranny replaced under warranty (5th time-long story), and forgot my camera in the rental. When I called first thing in the morning (I had dropped it off at closing), they claimed my camera was not in the car. More like one of them stole it.

Anyway, I suspect I will probably be waxing it more often as spring rolls around. He drives it more when it is warm. I will be replacing my camera soon, so next time, I will post pics.
