to Autopia and congrats on the your upcoming wedding!

There's bound to be shows and cruise-nights happening when you're here, August is always a happening time in SoCal.

Meguiar's has detailing clinics just about every week at their HQ in Irvine (about an hour south of LA). I highly recommend squeezing in a Saturday class or Wednesday night fun session when you're in town.

Along your route you'll probably be able to swing by vendors like Patrick at Exceldetail but if you'll be staying in any one place for more than a couple days you can have stuff shipped to your hotel.

A couple California travel tips; if you'll be cruising the inland valleys and especially the deserts August will be hot. Here's a personal website by a fellow countryman of yours
