Very good friend of mine let me borrow this rig to pickup some toys for our baby girl.
So I decided to polish the alcoa rims and give it a good wash and QD.
Tuesday I washed the truck, wheel wells and the very dirty wheels. I got 2 of the wheels polished. I started with Busch polish and powerball. It was taking a while to cut thru so I switched to blue magic and it seemed to cut faster and still left a nice finish.
Here is a front wheel before:
Rear wheel before:
Wed. I polished the other 2 wheels and gave the interior a nice cleaning. Tires got mothers.
Thursday I recleaned the paint with PB SnW and then SnG. Then I polished the stacks with Bluemagic and some sams MFs.
Afters:
My daughter just loved the sound of this truck with the rear windows down.
I could not get the powerball in deep enough to do the inner part of the rear wheels. Just didn't have enough time to do them by hand. Also would love to polish the paint with some 106ff, maybe next time.
