Yes, this is still what I would recommend. I recently tried a couple of other possible compunds as substitutes for FI-II including
Meguiar's Dual Action Cleaner/Polish - but it wasn't as aggressive as the FI-II and didn't get the job done. Having used FI-II more now, I would work it more than I did when I last used it on the Porsche, and then I might try
Meguiar's #9 SM 2.0 instead of the 3M stuff. Then put on a base and, if you want to see an amazing trnasformation, give
Souveran a try. Just watch out for the residue.
