| I'm not concerned about anybody switching my product for something else or otherwise tampering with it. But I can see how seals will keep something from spilling/leaking/drying out if the bottle isn't vertical though so on a practical level I'd say they're a good thing.
Seems like most of the products I use come with a seal. While I usually only think about it in a negative way ("argh...I gotta go get something to get this #@&% seal off!") it's probably a good thing. But if a product doesn't have one I don't care unless there's been spillage/spoilage. And in those cases the vendors I deal with have always taken my word for it and sent a replacement. But yeah, the seal would've meant no problems to begin with. |
