| Well, althugh most people that have watched the UK version tend to not like the US version as much, still... as the saying goes.. "it's all we gots!" So lets' show some love for the US version no matter how watered down people think it is. All we are really missing is the "famous person in a plain car" thing or whatever its called. I usually FFWD through that anyhow. Some of the US bashing is toned down, but otherwise it's a reasonable rendition of the original. Still tops anything Speed has put out in years!
Anyhow.. I contacted the Discovery Channel in NOvember ans asked when it was coming back, they said to look for it in December. I just ran my TIVO to the end of December and didnt' see it on any day or night. Might be time to contact them again and see what the holdup is. |
