Those are the ones from Nigeria. I used to get them at my work e-mail. My coworkers and I would respond to let them know we were eagerly "interested" and they would answer back. We would then proceed to have an e-mail correspondance where we would then turn then tables on them asking them to establish bank accounts and forward us their account numbers, etc... We would ask for tons of information like their mother's maiden name, their home address, phone number, etc... on and on and on and on.
They got terribly confused. We said if they needed our help they would have to do it. Finally, we sent them one last e-mail making fun of them and insulting them in the worst way!
It was a ton of fun during the stressful work day to take a break and share a good laugh with the guys in the office. We would shout out to everyone that we got a response and then we would all gather together and think of stuff to type back.
Sad thing is, there are so many stupid people that do provide them with personal information.
