I also love those sounds! My dad has/had a HUGE swing/jazz/dixieland/New Orleans collection, and I listened to that stuff in the 60s and 70s right next to The Doors and Led Zep. I got my buddies hooked on Benny Goodman's "Swing, Swing, Swing (Christopher Columbus)" from the 1938 Carnegie Hall jazz concert.

The original "Swing, Swing, Swing" is my favorite Big Band "high-energy" piece, along with Glenn Miller's "In the Mood" and "American Patrol".
