I got a PC last fall and I went to use it for the first time today.

The pad stops rotating with hardly and pressure applied at all. I can’t even rest the weight of the PC before it stops rotating, in fact I can stop it by just a light touch of my hand and all that’s left is the vibrating. Couldn’t sling product if I wanted to. The threaded socket that the backing plate screws into turns free without any resistance from the motor. This must be broken or there is something I’m missing.

I looked in the book and couldn’t find any adjustment so what do you think?
