| Your 6 inch pads are fine. You'll need a new backing plate to go with rotary since it's different from PC.
I started with Makita rotary. However, i need to use PC to eliminate holograms left from using rotary anyway. But if you really wanna try rotary, you should find a junk hood to work with first. Or find someone who is willing to have you tested your skills on the hood. STart with slow speed to get a feel of it. Enjoy and good luck |
