The next time you take one of your cats on a car ride, feed it with Hide Food beforehand. That way, when it pukes on your seats (as it surely will) all you need to do is flip the critter over and use it to rub the regurgitated leather conditioner into the seats. Heck, you could take the cats for car rides just for this purpose. BTW, I agree with 'puter - you write well.
