Hirosh--Do it on your Brother's truck, it looks awesome! The pics really don't do justice to the wetness of the paint. It truly amazing to be honest with you, it turns out great.
Zesty--I used the
Sonus Orange Pad with the SSR 2.5. They call it a cutting pad, I don't know if it is the most aggressive of their pads. And then I used their Blue Pad with the VM. I am beyond happy with the results! Don't really know of the durability of the pads, they are already coming apart after a couple of details. I am going to give the
LC pads a try next. Not sure which ones to get, I have the 5" backing plate from Sonus, anyone know if I can use the LC pads with my backing plate, or do I need to get an LC backing plate?
GSR--Really, that kind of job is $175? I had no idea it would be that much. I would like to do this for a profession, I just don't know if I am good enough to do it. But he says he would be very happy with this kind of work, so that makes me feel pretty good!!
