before Autopia, the most detailing i would do was with my 1989 Mustang, single stage dark red paint with swirls and minor oxidization. used the
Meguiar's Deep Crystal System. it looked nice but it took a long time to get the oxidization out since i was doing it by hand. and then i got one of those Waxmaster's orbital buffers and thought i was so hardcore! then i found Autopia and found out i had A LOT more to learn.
interestingly enough, i could tell when i needed to wax it because i could see the swirls on the door whenever the wax was gone!
