How about posting a pic of the seats to get idea about the holes.

Remember leather requires oils. Some products do not have the correct oils. Most products made for leather are good enough. Experiment and find one that has a smell you like too.

Nasty smells inside stink.

I have used the LEXOL and Meguires. Not real satisfied with either. They stink and the buffing is a pain. Also I get shiny and dull spots.

Remember the leather needs lots of oils when it is dry out because the leather loses its oil. A tip a German Mercedes mechanic taught me: Before conditioning put the heat option on and let the seats warm in the winter so they take the conditioner better.

I would love to see a pic of the Saab wagon I always like the convertable they make.

Good luck. Nother tip: do not stop at McDonalds with kids the grease from french fries is not good for the leather.
