Yes, I'm looking for an easy way out here...

I went to Pep Boys today to pick up the A2Z cleaner, and next to it was the Wax As-U-Dry product. Is this any good? I don't expect it to be as good as a good polish and wax, but is this worth anything at all? It sounds almost too good to be true...

Will it harm my paint (one of my cars was repainted, no clearcoat)? Protect against the sun? Make water bead? Give the paint a decent shine?
