Oxidation removal

Well, I spent all day yesterday in an attempt to remove swirls and oxidation. I decided to Dawn wash, Clay, 3M FI2, AIO, and finally SG (3M FI2 and AIO were via PC). I do plan to add another coat or 2 of SG then top with S100, but first I have a question. The car looked absolutely stunning in the garage yesterday, but today I got it out into the sun and if you look at the right angle you can still see good bits of oxidation on the front hood. Now, the FI2 did a fairly good job in that 90% of the swirls are gone, but I am pretty disappointed that the oxidation is still present. I would probably grade it medium oxidation at most. Also, there are little white dots all over the hood which can't be overspray because I clayed pretty well. However, oxidation takes the front seat for now. What do you guys recommend for getting rid of oxidation? I was thinking about stripping the SG with dawn wash and then using about 2-3 coats of AIO on the hood. Would this be effective at all? I know its very hard to tell the level of oxidation without actually seeing the car in person, but what are your personal experiences with oxidation?
