| I had a 2 hp that would max to 120 PSI (smoked it) but it often would not break the lug nuts lose. I could purchase a 150 max much cheaper at Lowes or Home depot but I did not want to chance still not being able to do the job. Now if I need the pressure for shot blast I have it. You are correct that most recommend 90 PSI so play at your own risk.
