You should be able to look at the badge and see how it is attached. Press on the badge and see if the backing gives. I de -badged my Dodge Ram and the badges were held on by double backed tape. The tape is thick like it has foam between the sticky surfaces. You can do the fishing line (monofilament) method to remove them. I used a plastic putty knife and a heat gun. I heated teh letter/number and carefully slid the putty knife behind the badge. Once it comes off, there is a lot of adhesive and foamrubber looking stuff. I used 3M decal and adhesive remover and it came off pretty quickly. You will probably get some light scratches from the removal, but they polish up nicely.

Body shop guys use a 3M part that you spin in a drill or die grinder at 2000 rpm that is specifically made for this.
