Be sure you get the APC+, not just the APC. The APC+ is a non butyl cleaner and from what I read, that seems to be preferred.
For the vacuum, it might be worth checking out the blower vacs at Home Depot and Lowes. Several people have them and seem to be happy with them. The blower part is good for getting those cracks and crevises dried out after washing the car. I also use my leaf blower to
sweep my garage. Works great and is actually less dusty than using a broom.
