Four weeks ago after doing a thorough wheel cleaning I put
Klasse AIO and
SG on the left front wheel and Zaino Z-5 on the right front wheel. I also topped the sealants with Wheel Wax on a single segment. Since then all I’ve done is hose down the wheels during car washes - - no brushing, no cleaner, no wiping. Today I wiped both front wheels with a white terry towel to compare the qualities of Klasse and Zaino as a wheel sealant.
Results:
There was somewhat more brake dust and
grime on the Klasse towel which leads me to believe that the harder surface of the Zaino allowed less “stuff” to stay on the wheel. There were several spots on the Klasse wheel that could not be wiped off with light pressure and I had to use QD to get them off; there were only two such spots on the Zaino wheel. The areas on both wheels with Wheel Wax were visibly dirtier than the other areas, but the grime wiped off easily.
