| If the terry applicators have worked well in the past (are safe to use) try using that with up and down motions on the sides. Zaino gives those directions because that's the direction that scratches/swirls are least noticable. If you polish this way any scratches you might make will be less noticable and you will also be going across the grain of the most noticable defects you're trying to remove as well.
